Happy 1 year of coming into our lives, SCD getting an anonymous tip that a dog needs help and your old crappy "home" giving you up to us. I couldn't be more thrilled to have been through this experience with Alan and Bella. We have learned a lot about dogs and even ourselves being around this sick little dog.
We've learned how to treat mange and over come a lot of obstacles. Constant scratching, biting, bloody tearing skin, diarrhea and vomiting and even at the same time. How to trick a dog into taking medication because let me tell you, they are tricky little buggers once they realize its not just a treat anymore.
That we have had to put clothes, booties, coconut oil, ointments, salve, shirts, dog underwear, and jackets on dogs! Who knew! Not just to keep you warm but to keep you from scratching yourself to the point of bleeding!!
We've experienced a birthday with you!!
That you love to "drive"
Watching you meet with new dogs and exploring everything at the dog park!!
That you were officially adopted! Although we knew immediately we wanted you to be a part of our family!
Watching football and learning that you are a hawks fan, of course!!
That you snort like a pig and snore!! Which is why you were a pig for Halloween!
That you love to burrow and sleep with us!
That you love to have chewys and bones!! :)
That you love to play in the snow, until your paws froze off I bet!!
That you love your stocking stuffers!
That you'd be best friends with the cat!
We've learned so much about you. I cherish the lessons that you've taught me. And that I strive to want to help more dogs because of you Bella.
Thank you for everything!
We love you!
Momma and Daddy, Sid, Doris, Moonshine and Foster Sis Abby :)
